After COVID-19 postponed possible tour plans for her previous album, Taylor Swift is finally going on tour. Her “Eras” tour kicks off tonight in Glendale, Arizona, and she’s bringing her most talented friends to the stage.
Singer announces her tour plans for October 2022, calling it a ‘journey through the musical age’ [her] Career (past and present!)”, hence the name Eras Tour. Swift invited multiple artists to join her as the tour’s opening act, some of whom had previously collaborated with her.
Swift has nine special guests who rotate according to tour dates. Her guests include Paramore, Beaverdoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red, Muna, Haim, Gail, Gracie Abrams and Owen.
Paramore
Paramore is an American rock band from Tennessee, formed in 2004. Taylor Swift and the band’s lead singer Hayley Williams have been friends for over a decade.
Swift brought Williams along during a show on her ‘Speak Now’ tour to sing the band’s song ‘That’s What You Get’ in 2011. Williams also appeared in Taylor Swift’s 2015 music video for “Bad Blood.”
The band will accompany Swift on the first two opening nights. “Eras Tour” in Glendale, Arizona on March 17th and 18.00

Beabadoobee is a British-Filipino singer who rose to prominence in 2017 when her song “Coffee” gained over 300,000 views on YouTube. According to the singer, Taylor Swift first introduced herself at the 2020 NME Awards.
“Taylor Swift came up to me and told me she loved my performance and my music. She said she wouldn’t skip a single song.” Beabadoobee spoke of their interaction.
Beabadoobee will be Swift ready for some shows to launch. It will run from March 24th to April 29th, 2023. Her tour dates include locations such as Las Vegas, Nevada and Houston, Texas.
Phoebe Bridgers
Phoebe Bridgers used to be in a band called “Sloppy Jane”, but in 2017 she embarked on a solo career with her debut solo album “Stranger in the Alps”. The singer first collaborated with Swift on her track “Nothing New,” released in 2021 on “Red (Taylor’s Version).”
Bridgers joins Swift on stage. From May 5th to May 28th. Includes stops in Nashville, Tennessee and East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Girl in Red is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who first became popular in 2017 with her music on SoundCloud. Since 2018, she has had several successful EPs and her debut studio album..
The singer has previously spoken out about her admiration for the “anti-hero” singer. cites her as one of her greatest musical influences.
“I’m inspired by Taylor Swift on so many levels,” Girl in Red previously told Vulture. “She’s been in the industry long enough and has seen the worst an artist can get when it comes to how the world talks about them, yet she always bounces back with great music.”
Girl in Red will be the opening act for Swift starting June 2nd in Chicago, Illinois. Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 24th.

MUNA is an indie pop band consisting of Katie Gavin, Josette Musquin and Naomi McPherson. The trio met at the University of Southern California and released their debut EP ‘More Perfect’ on Bandcamp and Soundcloud in 2014.
Swift has praised the band before, including their song “Number One Fan” in 2020. In her playlist celebrating International Women’s Day. Most recently, the group covered Swift’s song “August” in 2020 and included it on the EP “Live at Electric Lady.”
MUNA has several shows in April, June and July, Their final opening act will be at a concert in Denver, Colorado.
Heim
Sisters, Este, Daniel and Alana Haim form popular rock band HAIM and first released music on the 2012 EP ‘Forever’. The band has collaborated with Swift several times over the years, and their friendship dates back to 2014.
In 2020, the album Women in Music Pt. III featured Swift on the track “Gasoline”. They performed the song together at the band’s London show in July 2022.
Swift also features the trio on their 2020 song “no body, no Crime.” The band will open for her on several dates, including concerts in Seattle, Washington and Santa Clara, California.
HAIM also opens to Swift. Final night of the “Era Tour” in Los Angeles, CA.
Gail
Taylor Gale Rutherford, better known by her stage name GAYLE First released in 2021 with the single “ABCDEFU”, the music went viral on Tik Tok and Spotify.
The singer first connected with Swift at the Nashville Songwriter Awards, where they were both honored. Gail later posted a selfie with Swift with the caption. “I died and came back to life.”
Gayle will open for Swift on several dates March, April, May, and again in August.
Gracie Abrams
Gracie Abrams, the daughter of director JJ Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, began making headlines in 2019 with the release of her debut single, “Mean It.” After the release of Abrams’ song “Rockland,” Swift showed her support in a comment on TikTok, joking that she needed “five to seven business days” to recover from the song.
Abrams also attended Swift’s 32nd birthday celebration. She joins Swift for most of her shows from April through her August. Her final stop will be the final ‘Eras Tour’ show in the US in Los Angeles.

Owen, whose real name is Christian Owens, has a long history with Swift. He was previously one of Swift’s dancers during her “Reputation” stadium tour. He also performed with Swift in her “Lover” music video.
OWENN will be the opening act for Swift. Her shows will take place June and August 4, 2023.
