From the tender age of three, 20XII’s passion for the performing arts was evident. The Atlanta, GA native began her journey with ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes, which soon evolved into imaginative singing. Collaborating with her older brother and willing family members, 20XII showcased her creativity through impromptu skits that captivated those around her.
Recognizing her undeniable talent and love for the arts, 20XII was introduced to an Atlanta-based artist development company called AGI. In 2011, at the age of 7, she attended their summer art camp, focusing on honing her skills as a triple threat performer. Following her remarkable experience, 20XII received an invitation to audition for the young girl trio, Pink Heart.
The trio made an immediate impact on the industry, with their first release, a viral remake of Meghan Trainor’s “No,” amassing an astonishing 5.6 million views. Throughout her tenure in the entertainment industry, 20XII has executed and performed in over 50 music videos, which have resulted in over 75 million views on YouTube and have also streamed on BET Jams and NickMusic.
Today, she is an exceptional singer-songwriter known as TwentyXII (20×II), formerly known as “Madox Destyn.” Now based in Los Angeles, she is enjoying the release of her new single, “I Guess,” a remarkable composition she wrote, leveraging production by Troy Taylor. With her unwavering talent and dedication, 20XII is poised to make an indelible mark on the music industry.
