The True North Chorale and Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Richard Fortney, will perform the annual Patriotic Church at the Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road, Bay Village on June 17 at 7:00 pm, according to a news release. Hold a concert.
The concert is open to all and a love offering will be made to offset the costs, the release says.
“A special memorial service will be held for our service and all those who have served will be asked to stand and be commended,” the release said.

“This night will be a time of reflection and hope as we celebrate our freedom, celebrate our past and pray for our future,” the release said.
Over 40 musicians perform patriotic songs like “America the Beautiful,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “March of the Saints,” “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and “God Bless America.” do.
According to the release, this annual patriotic concert brings together America’s favorite songs and hymns that reach the soul and touch the hearts of listeners.
“Lyrics are the words that stick in our hearts, the music we sing to ourselves, the thoughts that lift us up, the inspiration we seek, and the things that truly matter as we prepare for Independence Day. It’s a true celebration of the American spirit in an amazing way,” the release read. “Celebrate our independence and freedom.”
