apprentice We pissed our viewers off with our latest round of terrifying interviews.
The penultimate episode of each series shows the final five candidates undergoing intense interrogation from Lord Sugar’s trusted aides, including Claude Littner and Linda Plant.
By the end of the episode, the candidates had been narrowed down to just two.
This particular episode has been considered a regular fan favorite among viewers, though viewers complained that this year’s episode was too harsh.
Joining Littner and Plant were Mike Souter and Baroness Karren Brady, sitting next to Sugar in the conference room.
Brady found himself at the center of one of the episode’s most brutal moments. When Megan Hornby left the interview, she called Brady by his first name, to which Brady responded: My friends call me Karen. ”
She also broke down both Victoria Goulborne and Dani Donovan during the interview, leaving the two candidates to tears. However, each candidate revealed that interviewing the businesswoman was the most nerve-wracking, as she tracked her progress throughout the series prior to the interview.
But it was too much for some viewers and some said they wouldn’t watch it anymore apprentice as a result.
Claire Donachie tweeted, “Interviewers seem to be bullying finalists. They’re not interviewing. This is the last we’ll see.” apprentice”
Jake Johnstone added: All for cut remarks and sarcasm, but some of this is just bullying. ”
Saji called the episode “disgusting” and wrote, “This is on the brink of bullying,” while Joe added: Break down business plans, not people. Instead of constructive criticism, it became bullying.”
“The young girl was horrified to see the interview process,” said one of the viewers, S Zarras, adding: I don’t want her to believe that she’s going to look like this when she goes to her first job interview. ”

By the end of the episode, Sugar fired Victoria, Dani, and Megan, leaving Rochelle Ray Anthony and Marnie Swindells as 2023 finalists.
