Sukushmallow, a soft and fluffy stuffed toy loved by children, will appear at McDonald’s stores nationwide this spring as the main toy of Happy Meal.
According to a Jazwares release issued Tuesday, plush toy maker Jazwares has partnered with a well-known restaurant chain for the promotion, and the collection will include 24 squishmallows.
In addition, the 14 stuffed animals come with playlists created by Universal Music Group that match their individuality, and can be used by scanning the included QR code. It’s not clear which artists will be featured on the release, but Universal Music Group has worked with Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, The Eagles, ABBA and many others.

Jennifer Delvecchio, Senior Director of Global Affairs, said, “This is the first time for Happy Meal to add an exclusive music playlist to our toys and Squishma from Jazzwear, the world’s #1 plush toy brand. We are extremely proud to be working with Rose and Universal Music Group on this initiative.” McDonald’s campaigns and partnerships were mentioned in a release.
When the promotion kicks off in various markets this spring, all participating McDonald’s restaurants will offer 10 to 12 squishmallows with their Happy Meal, according to the release.
No word yet on when the toys will be included in Happy Meals nationwide.
Sukshmallows grew in popularity in 2020. Plushies range in height from his 3.5 inches to 24 inches and are typically sold at retailers such as Walgreens, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Five His Below. There are thousands of animals, each with a name and personality that can be found by tags. Hobbies and interests are also included.
