The third season of Power Book II: Ghosts begins with Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) earning his trust, returning to his family, and deciding to leave the game entirely. Tariq’s plans to reunite with Tasha (Naturi Norton) and Yaz (Paris Morgan) are disrupted when a ruthless new connection emerges, leaving him, Brayden (Gianni Paolo) and Effie (Alix Lapri) to join the Tejada family (Mary J. Blige and Lovell Adams-Gray) are more challenged than ever to move their weight.
When Braden brings Tariq in as an intern at his family’s hedge fund, Weston Holdings, the drug business expands beyond Stansfield to Wall Street, and Tariq also presents another legitimate path to success. Set ablaze by the death of his son Zeke Cross (Daniel Bellomy), Monet Tejada is willing to pay a heavy price to avenge his firstborn son and keep the business going with his remaining children. (Method Man) Solve Zeke’s murder and keep federal agents out of her way. Business is booming as a staggering revelation forces Tariq to consider betrayal from those closest to him…and RICO’s investigation extends to the entire pharmaceutical company, putting Tariq in business. Who is the cast of ‘Powerbook II: Ghosts’ Season 3?

Moviefone recently sat down with actors Michael Rainey Jr., Gianni Paolo, and Alix Lapuri to talk about their work on Season 3 of ‘Power Book II: Ghosts’, their characters, new cast members, and fans of the film. I was. You can expect the series.

Moviefone: First, Michael, can you tell us about Tariq’s whereabouts when the new season starts?
Michael Rainey Jr.: Man, season 2 is over and I think he’s been betrayed in a way. Then he left and apparently got on with all that and the whole mission was on Monet and Mecca and all. As he exited the building, the cameras were literally recording him entering and exiting the building. It’s the loose end at the end of season two. It’s a very loose end. He’s on camera, surveillance cameras, but it’s only the beginning of season three. He’s got it in the back of his mind as he’s trying to figure out how to navigate it.
Gianni Paolo (‘Brayden Weston’) will be joining STARZ in Season 3 of ‘Power Book II: Ghosts’.
MF: Gianni, Brayden is going deeper into the drug business than he expected. What is he dealing with in Season 3?
John Paul: I think he definitely thought this was going to be fun at first. But he feels like he’s navigating it just fine. As scary as he is, I feel like he’s starting to like me even more this season.
MF: Alex, can you talk about the relationship between Effie and Tariq this season?
Alix Lapri: Honestly, your guess is the same as mine. who knows? It’s push and pull. It’s definitely a power struggle that deals with us too.It’s always a give and take, a push and pull. it is very toxic. Very dangerous for some people. So I don’t know. Let’s see. Let’s see which way it goes.

MF: Michael, Tariq has taken more risks this season. What made him decide to push so many products?
Mr: Listen, we have to make money! I need a lambo every day. But I mean, Tariq, he just needs that money. He needs that money for Sammy, he needs that money for him. Brayden was just going through something with his family and needed money. He doesn’t really need the money, but he needs to earn it himself. That’s what drives him. He just wants to be the reason why he has a good life.He doesn’t want to get anything from his family.He wants to be the reason why he is doing well.
MF: Finally, Gianni, Brayden is out of school and working at Weston, how does he feel about working with his family?
GPs: I mean, I think he definitely doesn’t want to be with his family. But he also realized that this could be very lucrative for business. So I don’t think he hates it, but he definitely doesn’t want to be around his family at all.
