coffin bearerLike everyone else on the planet, they were put on hold by the pandemic while working on their new album.Bassist and vocalist Joseph D. Rowland confirm new noise media The new album is nearing completion and is on track to be released in 2024.
“It wasn’t supposed to be such a long break. [between albums] for us” Roland. “but [after going] All the while we were recording another album that had just been completed. [with]. We’ve spent years on it at this point. In my opinion, it will be a big surprise for people. ”
Roland further confirmed that coffin bearer plans to mix the album in August of this year, and has spent most of 2023 rehearsing new songs.
“We are excited [the new material] – and that’s what we’ve been rehearsing for. For us most of this year has been really polishing and perfecting these songs. … so forgotten days It was a stew of everything else, but this is something else. It’s something we’ve never done before. ”
