Noah Jupe talks about the magician elephant
Screen Rant: If you were given the same choices as Peter, would you do these impossible tasks to beat the elephant and answer the question?
Noah Jupe: I wish I could say that, but I don’t think I’m as hopeful and positive as Peter. I think I have a little more pussy than him because he’s so incredible and pretty brave to take those jobs. I don’t know if I can, but I want to tell myself that I can.
What did you like most about Peter? What did you enjoy most about playing this character?
Noah Jupe: I loved his energy. he likes anything He is very passionate about finding his sister and elephants. He gave him so many lives. He gave me life and energy. I really liked playing him for that.
Have you had the chance to work with the author of the book? Did she give you any details about Peter that might help your performance?
Noah Jupe: No, not really. I want to see her, but she couldn’t talk to her.
During the first challenge, Peter is being chased by soldiers and is completely out of breath. How can you achieve that and make it sound realistic when you’re stuck in front of the mic?
Noah Jupe: Move your arms a lot and breathe heavily. The first time you do it, it’s like, “This is so embarrassing.” because you look so stupid It’s such a great experience. The most fun I’ve ever had was when they completed a scene. It was a chase. They animated most of it and allowed us to do the session while watching the actual movie on the screen and have the sound. The first time I saw it, I was in place running, breathing, doing everything.
King was my personal favorite character because of his one-liners.
Noah Jupe: I haven’t seen the movie, but I know he has a lot of great one-liners. He was definitely one of my favorites too.

Noah Jupe: I think there are many similarities quiet placeWith Marcus and Peter… their tenacity and Marcus’ passion for survival and passion for keeping his family alive and Peter’s passion for finding his family. Although they are completely different genres, they both have very strong ties to their families.
There are some very strong themes here, what message do you want the audience to get from this film?
Noah Jupe: My favorite word in this movie is “what if”. and how much power they have. You should start asking “what if?” much more in our lives. At least I think that’s what I took away from it.
