Hozier released his latest EP, Eat Your Young, on Friday, March 17th, celebrating with an impromptu performance at an Irish pub in NYC.
Co Wicklow native Hozier was photographed performing his smash hit “Take Me to Church” at St. Dymphna’s in downtown New York City on Thursday night, March 16th.
Later, in an Instagram story that will be deleted 24 hours later, Hozier said:
“After playing a few songs, I came to Saint Dymphna.
“I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for all your support. See you soon.”
Hozier released their latest EP, Eat Your Young, on Friday, March 17th. This is not only St. Patrick’s Day, but also the Irish singer’s 33rd birthday.
While “Eat Your Young” includes three new songs, Hozier also announced Friday that a new full-length album, “Unreal Unearth,” will be released later this summer. This follows his first two albums, 2014’s ‘Hozier’ and his 2019’s ‘Wasteland, Baby!
Of course, what’s a new song without a tour announcement? Hozier’s Unreal Unearth tour kicks off in Glasgow this June and will tour Europe, Canada and the US, including New York’s famous Madison Square Garden.
