Spotify users should check out spottle, a new musical guessing game similar to Wordle but aimed at music. Spotle is similar to Heardle, a popular game that plays a song’s intro for a few seconds and then the user guesses him six times to figure out the artist and song title. Instead, users have to make random guesses to find the correct artist. The game is based on Spotify’s top artists, meaning users don’t have to guess obscure artists and bands. If the Listener Rank is yellow, it means the guessed artist is ranked within the top 50 of the correct artist. Genres displayed on Spotle consist of Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Country, Alternative, R&B, K-Pop, Latin, Classical, Jazz, Metal, and Electronic. And finally there is nationality. Again, if the nationality of the guessed artist is on the same continent as the correct artist, the nationality card turns yellow.
