George Clinton and his Parliament-Funkadelic brothers have announced an extensive list of tour dates that will take crews from coast to coast this summer.・Of It!” The Final Tour?!? And it arrives four years after Clinton’s last so-called farewell excursion.
Funk Icon’s run kicks off July 27th in Reno, Nevada, followed by a show the following night in Napa, Calif., where the ensemble will be attending the Blue Note Jazz Festival. Next, he picks up two Pacific Northwest itineraries scheduled in Portland, Oregon and Seattle before traveling to the center of the country.
Continuing their impending summer tour, the bandleader and his team of collaborators will be in Oklahoma and Texas, along with a gig in Atlanta on August 8th. Following a gig in North Carolina, the group will arrive in Boston on August 17th.
Next, the crew is scheduled to perform a show in Port Chester, New York.The crew will then trek to Montclair, New Jersey on August 19 and return in time for the show in Mashantucket, Connecticut.A few days later. August 20th.
The so-called Just for the Funk of It! The final tour?!? will take the musicians to Pittsburgh and Cleveland, with a stop in Indianapolis before a final August date in Louisville, Kentucky.The only concert on November 25th will be in Oakland, California. The final day of this tour for the band.
The tour will see Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic join the headliners in select cities, with special guests Fishbourne, Dumpsterfunk and George Porter Jr.
