(CNN) U.S. Parks Police and the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department said parks officers shot dead 17-year-old Dalaneo Martin last month after he was found asleep in an allegedly stolen car. released body-worn camera video showing what they did.

A few seconds later, footage shows the vehicle crashing into the house and the police rushing out.
Officers removed the driver from the vehicle, sought medical help, and began assisting, including chest compressions.
The U.S. Park Police said the driver, identified as Martin, died at the scene and a gun was recovered inside the vehicle. No one was hurt in the house.
The officer who shot Martin and a second Park officer were taken to a local hospital for treatment, Park Police said.
“The case is being investigated by the London Metropolitan Police and is being reviewed by the District Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Administrative review of the case is being conducted by the Home Office,” Park Police said.
Martin’s mother wants cops fired and prosecuted
The officers involved have not been identified by either police agency, and their faces are blurred in body camera video.
Martin’s family attorney, Jade Mathis, told The Washington Post that the family reviewed the video shortly before it was released.
“Their first reaction was tears, but that turned into anger,” Mattis said.
The family hopes the park officer who shot Martin will be identified, charged and fired, Mattis told the Post.
