Counting Crows will travel most of the summer with Dashboard Confessional during their 2023 Banshee season tour.
Counting Crows will take place in 56 North American cities, with Frank Turner as a special guest on select days, and Dashboard Confessional in support of all but seven shows.
“One of the best things about rock and roll life is traveling the world and playing music. It’s even better if you can play with one of your best friends and watch them play every night.” That’s what Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz said in a statement. “Chris Carrabah is one of my best friends in the world, one of my favorite people in the world, in terms of leading one of my favorite bands, Dashboard Confessional. Three wins in a row for me. Sorry for the terrible pun, but it’s going to be the best summer ever.”
Karaba, whose friendship with Duritz dates back to 2003, added: Dreams really do come true! ”
The Banshee season tour is scheduled to begin June 13th in Omaha, Nebraska and end September 25th at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. Bands include Cincinnati, Niagara Falls, Syracuse, Boston, Bridgeport, Atlantic City, Nashville, Virginia Beach and Los Angeles.
General sales of the tour will begin on Friday, March 17th at 10am local time. Additional information, including pre-sale sales hours, can be found on the Counting Crows website.
