City Girls may be showing off another summer banger on their latest record, ‘I Need A Thug’.
The single samples LL Cool J’s 1987 classic ‘I Need Love’ and follows up on the duo’s recent release ‘Act Bad’ featuring Diddy and Fabolous.
This is the “rich young pretty fucking anthem!!!!” As the Miami-raised rappers proclaimed on Instagram. LL’s record is considered “the first commercially successful rap ballad,” so it makes sense that JT and Yon Miami exchange bars about the man they each want.
In an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1, Miami revealed that a new full-length City Girls project is due out in July, with another single due out at midnight.
Separately, the duo told Complex that the new album is “advanced p***y rap.” JT explained: I don’t want to put out something stale. I feel like I’ve been here too long and I don’t even want to play like I used to. I want the music to be good and hit. It’s still a shitty rap, but it’s going to be fun, but it’s going to be more sublime. It’s lofty bastard rap. ”
of Kalesha, please “We’re legends, so we don’t care what anyone says,” the host interrupted, before JT continued. “Really, who did it like City Girls? No one. It’s not unusual for two people to come in and have this kind of character and attitude to people. came over and just talked about p***y and just being us.Nobody does a good fucking rap like City Girls.”
