Bandman Kebo wants his money back from Gunna.
In a recent interview with Say Cheese TV, the up-and-coming artist said, Una The rapper was paid $250,000 for a feature that was never released.
Kevo claimed to have paid Gunna to shoot visuals for the unreleased song. About two months after the video shoot, the YSL member was arrested on his May 11th as part of his RICO case involving Young Thug and many others.
The song had to go through clearance and lawyers before it was distributed, but it never saw the light of day because Gunna was locked up and occupied by his team.
Bandman Kevo wrote in a February tweet: And a few months later he got arrested and my functioning stopped and everything else was put on hold.Cap has a big lawsuit 💰”
The Chicago MC said in a new interview: At that time Please type your shit. Who knows where that song was before you messed up the name?
When asked how much he wanted Gunna to pay back, he replied, “About five million.”
He continues:Song, I was gon’ let it go bigbrother, do you feel me?
Kevo said the “investment” was completely wasted after Gunna was labeled as a Snitch suspect after he took a plea bargain in the RICO lawsuit.
“As soon as I started investing, it felt like he was at his peak,” he said. “If he had come out and done the right thing, he would have been bigger.”
Gunna, his lawyer, and Young Thug’s sister all explained why his plea bargain had nothing to do with snitching.
Attorney Steve Sadow said last December, “Ganna didn’t tip off to get out of jail.” You can’t use it in. So please stop spreading lies.”
The artist herself wrote in her Instagram caption: #YslTheLabel #FreeThug & Yak.”
