Pop star Stromae has canceled a string of European tours as she needs to focus on her health.

Known for his 2010 hit “Alors On Danse,” he was scheduled to perform in nine European cities.
Stromae, whose real name is Paul Van Haver, returned in 2022 after a seven-year hiatus.
The 38-year-old has already canceled six concert dates in the past two weeks and has not disclosed a specific medical reason for his declining health.
He previously stopped performing when he withdrew from a tour of Africa in 2015. He later attributed it to burnout and the side effects of the antimalarial drugs he took, telling The Guardian last year that it was “a really bad story.”
Stromae also addressed his mental health in the song L’Enfer – “Hell” from his comeback album Multitude, released last year.
His next dates on the 2023 Multitude Tour until the end of May included Amsterdam, London, Rome, Lyon and Berlin.
There are still dates left for tours beyond the end of May, including his hometown of Brussels, Lille and Paris.
“I realize that my current state of health does not allow me to go see you all at this time,” he wrote. in social media posts on tuesday.
“I regret to share this news with all of you. I am heartbroken, but I must acknowledge my limitations.”

Stromae was born in Brussels to a Belgian mother and a Rwandan father.
His 2010 single Alors On Danse topped the charts in 19 countries, making him one of the biggest French-speaking artists in the world.
