Clean energy companies have announced 142,016 new jobs in 31 states since Mr. Biden signed the Inflation Control Act in August, according to the latest analysis by clean energy advocate Climate Power.
This includes 191 clean energy projects with a total of $242.81 billion in new investment. The companies announced 65 new battery manufacturing sites, 40 new or expanded electric vehicle manufacturing facilities, and 34 wind and solar energy projects.

Biden is refusing to negotiate Republican-backed spending cuts as the White House seeks to raise the debt ceiling without conditions. It can lead to defaults and economic collapse.
