The Indiana Judiciary Nominating Board will interview 10 applicants for the next vacancy in the Indiana Tax Court on May 23.
The vacancy follows the retirement of Judge Martha Wentworth, who will retire later this year after 12 years as a lay judge.
The interview is open to the public and will take place in Supreme Court Chamber 319, Indiana State Capitol, 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, 46204.
The schedule is as follows.
8:30-9:15 AM: Executive session to review applications
9:15-9:45 a.m.: Kevin A. Halloran
9:45-10:15 am: Patrick W. Price

10:30-11:00 AM: Jennifer S. Touma
11-11:30 am: Lee T. Mandel
11:30 a.m.-noon: Winston Lynn
Lunch and board meeting to review applications
1:30pm – 2:00pm: Joseph Pearman
2-2:30 PM: Kimberly A. Wright
2:30-15: Evan W. Bartell

After the interviews, the JNC will deliberate in a closed board meeting and then hold a public vote to select the three most qualified candidates. These finalists are then submitted to Governor Eric Holcomb, who selects the next Indiana tax court judge within 60 days of receiving the names.
