In an Instagram post on Saturday, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hinted at an exclusive interview. Appears himself.
In the teaser video, Jackson explains his transition from college football to the NFL. Fans, however, are hoping to run into some of the more pressing issues, such as where he wants to play this season and why he simply won’t hire an agent.
Currently, Jackson operates under a non-exclusive franchise tag with Baltimore. In that case, the Ravens can choose to accept the offer or trade Jackson for two future first-round picks.
Jackson will make $32.4 million in 2023 if he stays with the Ravens and doesn’t sign a long-term contract extension.
Lamar will likely talk to Lamar about his off-season treatments.
Many, including former Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant, have speculated that racism is the reason other teams haven’t made offers. Considering Watson, Kyler Murray, Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott, and Jaylen Hurts all make big bucks, it’s hard to keep up.
What’s interesting, though, is that the two-time Pro Bowler and 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player is struggling to secure a long-term contract.
Maybe the team believes he’s past his prime? Maybe he doesn’t fit their plans? Or is he asking too much?

And it seems to be on the rise.

So as social media grows and it becomes easier for athletes to have their own platforms, we may see a shift in how sports news is broken.
It’s no surprise that Lamar Jackson wants to interview Lamar Jackson. He controls the narrative, the questions, the responses, and ultimately the brand.
