Frey co-produced the entire LP and collaborated with many talented people, including Jason Sweet, Jeff Harris, Dave Hammer, Pink Slip and Paul Meaney, who served as the album’s executive producer. . mononucleosis is also the first full-length for GIANT Music. “In music, I can be loud and brazen, but in my personal life I can be a little shy, especially when it comes to relationships. I wrote this song after I just met my (now) girlfriend. I sent it to her out of the blue and you think I only know how to flirt through songs?
She also released her second single and video from her forthcoming LP, her new song “Shy”. Check out the shocking new song and its music video below. The video is a ’90s nostalgia, and it shows K. Frey performing the song in black and white with a long microphone and a teddy bear cameo.
“Dave Hammer produced this, and there is a crazy energy between him and me. I think you can be creative. A lot of the guitar parts were just freestyle takes and we were messing around. But they had a brutishness to them that hit us both in the right places. ”
The song follows the previously released charming lead single “Raw Raw”.
