whenever you look Chris Messina We know we’ll get some solid acting out of him in the movies. An actor with a strong focus on material, his films are often incredibly interesting, making him a credible figure in the film industry. As such, he’s the kind of actor you’re eager to pop into anything, and he’s riding high on the side of the plum this year. Ben Affleckof air, the one that often steals the show.always with him Matt Damon Spar on the phone, it’s an absolute pleasure. We recently spoke on the phone about the role, and we’re thrilled to feature our conversation as the movie streams on Amazon Prime on Friday, May 12th.
In my 4 star rave review air (here), including Messina, said of the film’s performance:
This is absolutely an ensemble cast of aces. Everyone is focused on the material, enjoying their role, and embracing the teamwork of a film that literally makes dreams come true. Her small but important role as Deloris absolutely soars. Her faith and love for her son shined through, with tremendous results. Chris Messina is a comedic highlight (the phone call between Falk and Vaccaro is a riot), and Chris Tucker isn’t far behind. Jason Bateman’s deadpan nature works to great effect, but this is the best we’ve seen from Marlon Wayans. Supporting players include the aforementioned Julius Tennon and Damian Delano Young. Asante Deshon, Matthew Maher (plays a small but vital role), Jay Mall, more. Even if the top big names get most of the credit, not everyone just puts on their weight.
Below you can hear my chat with Messina.was eager to talk air Of course, with him, to hear what he was interested in in terms of acting work (I also had to talk about his filmmaking debut. Alex of Venice, which also led to some interesting information). Given that he tends to get important supporting roles, finding something to grab onto is essential, and he does it better than anyone else. But he’s definitely serious about his craft. He’s a good guy and clearly happy to be working and doing what he loves.if you haven’t seen air It’s still in theaters and that’s the ideal way to experience it, but it’s on Prime Video this weekend, so it’s an option there is…
