Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski attended Innisbrook Resort on Friday for the second round of the Valspar Championship.
Between golf games, the retired Gronk stopped by the interview area for a Hall of Fame-worthy performance.

Q. What brought you to Valspar today?
Gronk: “So I came to Valspar last year and had a great time. The special thing about being here is that you can watch the golf, but at the same time, it’s a really great place. Playing golf, I like activities, so I had to do some.I won a few games at cornhole.
“It’s great. It’s a great atmosphere here. It brings the community together here in Tampa Bay. The weather is just spectacular. It’s 85 degrees outside. There are two clouds in the sky and the sun is shining on everyone.” It’s a good day to feel better.”
Q. How many times a year do you play golf?
Gronk: “I’ve probably played a total of 1 round of golf in the last 6 years. I’ve been back up north and played a lot of golf simulators. I feel like they are actually quite accurate.
“My favorite thing to do is putt-putt. But I’m still very young and I’m living a fast life, but I feel more calm and like golf.” I will eventually play pro-am.I think I will be a par player one day.I will hit par for about 15 years.”
Q. PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS AT 50?
Gronk: “No, I’m going to be a pro-am champion. Yeah, I’ll play everyone else.”
Q. Have you ever met a player on the PGA Tour?
Gronk: “I’ve never actually met a professional golfer. I’ve never actually met. I’ve never actually met. I’ve met Tiger Woods once. He played in New England. I was at a big golf tournament and it was our facility.Oh yeah, he was just passing by and I said, “What’s the matter, Tiger?” Did you, Gronk?” I shook his hand. So he’s the only professional guy I’ve ever met.
“But I’ve actually met Shooter McGavin before. He’s the most professional golfer ever, if you ask me. I met Shooter.”

Q. If you could choose a Masters Champion dinner menu, what would it be?
Gronk: “My menu is cheeseburgers, chicken finger sables, buffalo wings with blue cheese on the side, and of course my nice ice shaker here with a cold drink. It’s always just a little tipsy.” .
“Do you mean the food-like menu?”
Q. yes. That’s perfect.
Gronk: “OK.”
Q. Scottie Scheffler’s is also a cheeseburger. cheeseburger sliders.
Gronk: “Yeah, well, we’re alike. He’s a nice guy.”
