Neither the TCU’s internal defenses, nor the possibility of live television, could upset Drew Timme on Sunday night.
Gonzaga senior center Tim scored a game-high 28 points in the team’s round of 32 against the Horned Frogs in an 84-81 win for the Bulldogs. Tim played solid 12-21 from the floor and even made his only 3-point attempt of the night.
Following the win, Tim dropped a big F-bomb when he was interviewed live by Andy Katz on TBS. “We can’t be the team to screw this up,” he said.

That F-bomb was so vivid it rolled off Tim’s tongue.
Tim, 22, is not only the school’s all-time leading scorer, but also Gonzaga’s most experienced player and emotional leader. Now Tim and the Bulldogs are Sweet He’s Sixteen and he’s playing against UCLA (a rematch of the legendary Final Four showdown from a few years ago).
