CHICAGO — Wednesday’s “Dean’s A-List Interview” was the most unique version, with the Chicago native talking about his latest project at a popular downtown diner.
Chicago-Raised Curie High School Graduate Actor, Writer and Producer Dwayne Perkins Joins Dean Richards of Lou Mitchells on WGN Morning News to Discuss New Project, The Blackening, Coming Out in 2016 rice field. Coming to theaters on June 16th.
They discuss a project centered around a group of black friends who have gathered to celebrate Juneteen’s weekend, only to find themselves locked in a shack with a “perverse killer.”
During a conversation on the show on June 7, Dwayne spoke with Dean about how the film was made and what viewers can expect.
