Charles Leclerc has said he is “trying to produce a song”, hinting that it may be released at some point.
The Ferrari driver is known as a musician in his spare time, and over the years has posted several videos on Instagram of himself playing the piano, and now makes his own music. It is clarified that
Formula 1’s official YouTube channel has released a video of a driver playing a game called ‘Never Have I Ever’. In this video there was a question whether Driver recorded the song.
Leclerc held up a sign saying he was going to keep it private for now before elaborating further.
“I am doing it now,” he said. “I have no plans to publish it. [it’s] initial. “
And when his answer to that question was posted on Twitter by user @Vetteleclerc, the Ferrari driver replied below regarding privacy elements, writing “subject to change…”.
So, it remains to be seen if we’ll get to hear Leclerc’s original music in the future, but he’s not the only driver known to produce his own music.

Lewis Hamilton is also a music-passionate driver, known for producing his own songs while away from Formula 1, and enjoys playing piano and guitar as a hobby outside of trucking.
Other drivers’ reactions in the video included Yuki Tsunoda, who said he had recorded the song before “albeit not right”, Lance Stroll, who said he had sung the track before, about ten years ago. It included Lando Norris, who said he sang it, but it’s unlikely anyone could find it publicly.
Pierre Guthrie said, “But does karaoke count as recording a song?”
AlphaTauri driver Nick De Vries said he once recorded a version of “Jingle Bells” on piano, but he wouldn’t sing it…
