rock springs — The Sweetwater Events Complex will host a double rock night with the bands Saving Abel and Firehouse on the Big Show Concert Stage in Wyoming on Thursday, August 3rd at 7pm.
Saving Abel is a Southern rock band with catchy hooks and heavy riffs, founded by Jared Weeks and Jason Null. Their first single, “Addicted,” burst onto the scene and quickly became a hit on everything from mainstream rock to the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 40. It entered the Billboard Top 50 and was RIAA-certified multi-platinum. Their debut album garnered him two more No. 1s on multiple charts with “18 days” and “Drowning (Face Down)” cementing this band’s name in rock.
Their sophomore album ‘Miss America’ did not disappoint and followed the same path set by their debut. ‘Miss America’ debuted on the Top 25 album and spawned similar charting singles with ‘Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood)’ and ‘The Sex is Good’.

After hitting the Billboard Top 10 five times, Saving Abel is back in the studio for their third record, Bringing Down The Giant. They released the track titled His from that album and it was a success, topping the top 10 on multiple charts. After a seven-year hiatus, Weeks and Null both felt the urge to revisit songs they had written before Saving Abel. While working on the Shade of Grace project, Weeks and Null knew what the next step should be. Weeks reunited with Saving Her Abel and released ‘Shade of Grace – Twenty Year Songs’ soon after. They are currently in the studio finishing up his next studio album. The first single “Baptides Me” was released on April 14, 2023.
