DeKALB – Egyptian Theater hosts concerts featuring working-class music band Wayland and country band Back Country Roads.
According to a news release, the concert will take place on April 14th at 7:30 pm at the Egyptian Theater, 135 N. Second St., DeKalb.
Weiland has toured solo in Midwest venues for seven years. Wayland has opened for crossover artists such as Aaron Lewis, Shinedown, Lifehouse, Colt Ford, Blackberry Smoke and Buckcherry. They also performed at major national festivals and on live television and radio he sang three-part harmonies.
Back Country Roads is a six-piece country band based in northern Illinois. They performed at the Country Thunder and the Wisconsin State Fair.Back Country Roads included Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley, David Lee Murphy, Neal McCoy, Love and Theft, Steel Magnolia, Keith Anderson, Easton Corbin, Granger Smith, Eddie Montgomery, and others. has supported artists. Back Country Roads plays 1990s country favourites, top 40 country hits and original music.
Tickets are $27 and can be purchased at the Egyptian Theater Box Office Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
