Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024, Kool and the Gang will embark on a 15 concert tour of venues across North America from May to October 2024.
This includes stops in both New York and New Jersey for the legendary ‘Jungle Boogie’.
“Get Down On It” at the NYCB Theater in Westbury, NY on Friday, May 12.
Two months later, Kool and the Gang will celebrate “Ladies Night” on July 21st at the Etes Arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Kool and the Gang will release their 34th studio album, People Just Wanna Have Fun, in July.

“There are some funk and jazzy tracks. There are some ballads in there, too,” lead singer and founder Robert “Cool” Bell said in a press release about the new album.
“Then there are songs that cross over to pop stuff. 70’s, 80’s to now. It’s old school, new school. We’ve captured it all here. Over the years we’ve been With all the music on , people have had fun, so I would say this album sums it all up.”
The band is without original members Ronald “Karis” Bell and Dennis “DT” Thomas. Two died in 2020 and 2021 respectively
