clock! Big Xhosa unveils a new musical concept he’s been hesitant to release. Big His Kosa paved the way for stardom with his satirical raps, but now he’s looking for ways to change his brand, trying to make music that has a positive impact.
On Instagram, the rapper shared a video clip of him making new music in the studio. Big Khosa said the music featured in the clip is something he has been working on, but is nervous about releasing. The rapper then asked fans if he should release a new musical concept. “I’ve been making records like this for a while..Should I stop doing this?” I wrote Big Xhosa.
In a statement, the Kosa rapper said it was removing the negative connotations associated with the “Big Kosa” moniker.
“First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my journey. The comical side of the music, trolling and swearing are at an end.“
“The truth is, this Big Xhosa character is not me, not what I represent, and I can’t go on pretending to be someone I’m not. I just had to be this so that I could draw attention to my music.I saw an opportunity in humor and took advantage of it. I had to go that route to get here.” He said.
“I refuse to continue living according to something or a personality that I am not. I am not a comedian. I can keep providing music because that’s my talent and as you’ll see with my next single coming out a few weeks from now, I’m able to do just about any type of music no matter how versatile it is. Because you can create music for‘ he added in a statement.
