Teaser image of boy band UKISS’ upcoming release [TANGO MUSIC]
Second-generation K-pop boy band UKISS will release a new song on June 28, according to Tango Music on Thursday.
The new album “Playlist” will be the band’s first release in five and a half years.
UKISS released a teaser image via social media on Wednesday showing silhouettes of the six members.
Currently, the band has only Soohyun, Hoon, and Kiseop as official members, but this time, they will make a comeback as a six-member group. Ukiss was a six-member band when it debuted in 2008, but has changed members several times. It has not been officially announced which of his three former members are participating in this new release.
UKISS is a member of the second generation of so-called K-pop idols, who debuted in the late 2000s and gained popularity overseas and contributed to the promotion of Hallyu.
The group will hold concerts in Tokyo and Osaka next month to commemorate their 15th anniversary.
