Tyler continues to elevate himself to levels many might not have predicted he would reach when he was younger. Four years after his death, Nipsey Hussle makes a posthumous appearance on “Raised Different,” setting the tempo for Jeezy and Blxst to follow, creating a soulful yet meditative groove. “Free Game” and “No Weakness” add more aggression, while New York’s best groups collide in the triumphant “Forever.” He continues his year-long hot streak, and the DJ drama serves as a reminder that he really is one of them with this compilation. ’06 Gucci’ is the ideal mid-tempo canvas for Gucci Mane, DaBaby and 21 Savage to go with the flow. The Charlotte rapper kicks off the track and reflects on how he came from nothing and now people envy the cars he drives. Guwop jumps next to reflect on his past self and how he still has some of those traits today. “Still hard to kill, last Ny**a tried, ask him, he didn’t survive / I was sitting in the county, these Ny**a ran away to help And they won’t send me anything Dime 21 concludes things with what is easily the best verse: “Home invasion trying to go loot / Put his face on the stove” I thought he knew something/You’re a stepper, then put your boots on/When he makes a wrong move, he gets hit with a K.” A great victory lap for Gucci and a tribute from two young artists who are clearly influenced by his influence. – As

Larry June’s coolness oozes out in ways that have made him a staple of fly, unpretentious, all-around rap that his fans are drawn to. But beyond the various elements of his aesthetic, the craftsman was dedicated to crafting cohesive projects that further crystallized him as a person to be received with respect and reverence.The mission is imminent great escape, as the resident of Cali has partnered with The Alchemist for a joint release that lives up to the expectations placed on it. This reassures the listener for the music ahead.
While “89 Earthquake” mentions doubled tax write-offs, The Alchemist stepped off the board into a booth and ripped out a few bars in “60 Days.” Boasting guest appearances from Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, Action Bronson, Slum Village, Boldy James, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Worthy, Joey Bada$$, Curren$y and Evidence. great escape It may be a bit too monotonous for some listeners, but for those who like the laid-back sound of June and Alc, it’s a winner so far and one of the first great collaborations of the season so far. Quavo’s latest single, “Honey Bun,” is a gritty, flexible production. The standout part of the track is his interpolation of the “Rich Flex” opening by Drake and his 21 Savage. “Honeybun, can you do something for me?/Can you automate just for me?” he asks. “Tommy Gunn, can you do something for me? / Call Al Capone?” Otherwise, it’s a very standard and repetitive product from Huncho is. It’s honestly sad that Takeoff is gone and he’s gone from Offset. It’s clear that Offset’s versatile streak raised the bar for this song. At the very least, “Honey Bun” would have benefited from some feature, if not from his former companion. As

As Curren$y and Jermaine Dupri gear up for the release of their collaborative album, Motivational use only, the pair throw another heater in “Never Fall Off.” This is an inspirational number built on the strength of numbers and respect for chords. “I raise my hands to the Lord, I pray that I don’t fall,” Currency and Dupri croak on the hook, hot spita running roughshod in the opening verse. “If you really want to, you gotta run the gauntlet, buddy,” he advises, passing the baton to guest star T.I.
