Take a leap of faith and dive into it. I’m afraid to expose myself at first. It definitely worked for me, but everyone always has to start somewhere!
A notable moment in my career so far…
first EP release shattered)This was my first body of work, but it was surreal to read messages from people who resonated with my songs. It’s always very reassuring to know that I’m not the only one struggling with love.
My creative process is…
Basically, you type words into your phone’s notes app. Write down whatever comes to your mind and use it later as lyrics. i love the whole process. It’s very therapeutic. My hope for greater gender equality in the music industry is more women participating in sessions and songwriting. Women seriously bring so many great things to the table and they deserve a lot more attention, especially early in the music-making process.
