Tyler, the Creator has announced plans to release a list of shelved songs he created during the sessions for 2021’s “Call Me If You Get Lost.” The project, titled Call Us When You Get Lost: Estate Sale, will be released on March 31st.
The artist took to Twitter to share the news on Monday morning, soon following up with the release of her first single, “Dogtooth.” It was also accompanied by a self-produced music video.
“Call me if you’re lost” was the first album I made a lot together. [sic] Songs that did not make it to the final selection. I decided to release some of the songs that I really loved and knew would never see the light of day,” he said. I have written in the first tweet.
In the roughly three-minute video for “Dogtooth,” Tyler alternates between a construction site background spinning in a Rolls-Royce and a lush background in which he wears a suit and walks a pack of dogs.
The artist spent Monday morning answering fan questions about the production, revealing he found a hypoallergenic dog breed for filming due to pet allergies. After being asked he said answered: “hypo, and i took a lot of allegra and prednisone [sic] Mann.
He also shares a video moment with longtime friend and collaborator Jasper.hello scene“Seventeen years of friendship, that’s my companion!”
“The Estate Sale” comes two years after winning the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for “Call Me If You Get Lost.”of variety of Jem Aswad, deputy music editor of the Best Albums of 2021 list, praised Call Me If You’re Lost, calling it “the most cohesive album ever” and “a great break from its predecessor, Igor.” We have made great progress,” he said.
