Just months after sharing a great album A dying field expert, The Beths are back with another new song called “Watching the Credits”. In addition to the single, the Kiwi indie rocker expanded her already-stacked 2023 tour with the release of the NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
Record during period dying experts “Watching the Credits” was inspired by The Beths vocalist and songwriter Elizabeth Stokes’ own peculiar taste for learning everything there is to know about movies without actually seeing them. In typical Beth fashion, the punchy, energetic guitar builds from her riffs and is set against the backdrop of Stokes’ sharp lyrics. Changed the idea of ”hero energy” to something darker.

The Beths kick off their tour in Bristol, England on May 24th, spending most of the summer with stops in Europe and North America. Their schedule includes stops at Primavera Sound and Bonnaroo, several dates at The National and Death Cab for Cutie, and his three nights at Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Music Hall in October. Things cap off with a residency in.
