Taylor Swift “knew very well” that the Swifties of Latin America wanted to experience the Ellas Tour.

The international pop star turned to social media on Friday (June 2) afternoon to announce the Latin American edition of the cutting-edge show. Swift will host multiple nights in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
Breakstar Sabrina Carpenter will provide direct support.
“So happy to announce this!! Mexico, Argentina and Brazil: This year we bring you The Eras Tour!” Swift wrote on social media. “Sweet Angel Princess @sabrinacarpenter will be on every show!”
The Latin American trek will start on August 24th at FORO SOL in Mexico City, Mexico. The run will conclude with three nights in a row at the Allianz Parque Stadium in Sano Paulo, Brazil.
The hitmaker dropped an Easter egg in the announcement, teasing a world tour.
“More international dates coming soon, promise me!” Swift concluded.
Combining the “Nonsense” singer’s announcement with a screenshot of a tweet from 2010, the show came full circle for Carpenter. At the time, Swift was on the Fearless Tour in support of her second studio album.
“Taylor Swift’s concert was amazing and I had so much fun. I can’t wait to do a world tour like her one day!” she wrote on Twitter. “Lol, both performances are sold out!!!”
Many fans were quick to congratulate the vocalist, but one shared an old video of Carpenter covering “Picture to Burn” 13 years ago. The song appears on Swift’s self-titled debut album, alongside “Tim McGraw,” “Teardrops On My Guitar,” and “Our Song.”
Swift has 11 days left on her North American trip. This icon will next appear at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Friday (June 2nd).
