After writing the album in quarantine, Alien House (Justin Myers, L, Anthony Tarallo) desperately wanted to get back in the same room.
Creative Loafing Tampa Bay contributor Annalize Mabe recently announced Alien House’s new album, you“weaves together a sonic collage of thrift store cassette tape samples, distorted vocals, bopping breaks and compelling percussive energy.”
This weekend, the duo will finally celebrate the release with another Tampa ambient music producer, Akasha System, who just dropped. phytopiaan album of meditative, damp electronica.
Local image research collective DJs will open the free show with Ovan Odello.
There will be no cover art for the Alien House and Akasha System album release show at The Bricks in Ybor City on Saturday, June 10th.
