Strava today announced a new partnership with Spotify to integrate the streaming platform into its own mobile app. Now you can link your favorite songs, playlists, and podcasts to the Activity Platform to instantly play music without switching apps.
[レコード]Tabs show music notes and show you playlists and tracks recommended directly from Spotify. Premium users can play starred tracks and curated playlists, while free users can listen to whatever an audio app normally feeds them, including intermittent ads.
This feature is available to all free and paid Strava users on Summit subscriptions and requires a one-time link between both platforms. One thing Spotify Premium users miss with the integration, he said, is the ability to listen to music and podcasts offline. Strava requires a mobile or Wi-Fi connection to maintain an audio feed.
A groundbreaking new feature that eliminates the extra step of switching between apps is coming to Android and iOS users starting today.
