Streaming music services are great, but they obviously rely on your internet connection. Most offer the option to save tracks for offline listening, but this requires some preparation and not everyone has the time. So Spotify came up with a solution.
The company has revealed that it is working on a feature called “Your Offline Mix.” It’s a playlist that’s automatically created from what you’ve listened to recently, meaning there’s always something to satisfy your musical cravings, even if you don’t have an internet connection.

Spotify hasn’t revealed much about upcoming features, but CEO Daniel Ek has provided more details. On Twitter, he said that Your Offline Mix is a “playlist designed for when you’re not online,” suggesting that the airplane emoji might be good for entertainment in the light. .
He also tweeted a screenshot of the app playing Your Offline Mix. It has the following description:
A mix of recently played songs to use when the atmosphere is high but the connection is low.
It remains to be seen if there will be some degree of customization when this feature rolls out, or if it will just give users a playlist they have no control over.
At this time, there’s no news about when Spotify users will be able to try Your Offline Mix, and it’s unclear if it will be available only to paying subscribers.
