Spotify is focusing on short-form video content, introducing a new feature called “Clips” for artists and a new homepage with a vertical feed similar to how TikTok displays videos.
The feature was announced Wednesday at the company’s Stream On event. Spotify says on its Clips microsite, “Unlike other short-video platforms, Clips appears in the same app, allowing listeners to instantly stream new releases and their entire catalog.”
