Following the release of their self-titled debut album and a string of successful shows at SXSW, Somebody’s Child (Cian Godfrey) is excited to announce a series of North American dates this fall.
The show begins September 20th in Boston and ends September 24th in Toronto, Ontario. He will perform at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on his September 21st.
On the tour, Godfrey will perform Somebody’s Child songs that have roots in his formative years and the experiences that came with growing up in Dublin. The album was recorded at Hackney Road Studios in East London with producer Mikko Gordon (The Smile, Guz Coombs, Thom Yorke).
He hinted at the album with several singles, including “We Could Start A War,” “Sell Out,” “Broken Record,” and most recently, “I Need Ya,” which Atwood called an “instant classic.” .
