Frontiers Music Srl has announced Broken Soul, the second solo release from Chilean vocalist James Robledo. The album follows the 2021 release of his well-received debut solo album, Wanted Man.
On this album, James included Sinners Blood bandmate Nasson (Chaos Magic) on guitar, Jacopo Martinoni on drums, and producer/bassist/keyboardist who also produced his debut album. with Alessandro Del Vecchio. Check out the music video for the title track below.
James Robredo is a Chilean vocalist who comes from a family of successful musicians, both nationally and internationally, who have a prominent place in the history of Chilean music. In his youth he began forays into metal and rock. In 2004 he was part of the Chilean band Alternancia and in 2008 won first place at the Talent Crudo Festival (TVN Television Nacional de Chile). In 2011, James was invited to become a member of Banda Argentina Taboo and together they released two albums. In 2016, James left the taboo to star in the popular TV show The Voice Chili 2, where he made headlines for his outstanding singing ability.
In early 2017, James joined the band Renegade and recorded an album featuring duets with famous Chilean singer Ronnie Romero (Lord of Black, Sunstorm, Rainbow). In 2019, James signed to the Frontiers label to front new band Sinner’s Blood, which also features noted producer, songwriter and musician Nasson (Chaos Magic). Sinner’s Blood’s debut album, The Mirror Star, demonstrated his prowess and established him as one of the most prominent new hard rock/metal voices in all of South America. bottom. The instrumentation and songwriting on the debut of Sinner’s Blood was impressive, but James’ voice was just as impressive. The Frontiers wanted to explore more avenues to work with James and bring his powerful vocals to wider recognition, so the idea for a solo album was born. Written and produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio, Wanted Man showcased the talent of this incredible singer.
Additionally, earlier this year, Robredo joined guitarist Francesco Savino (False Memories), as well as hard rock scene veteran guitarist Jimi Bell (House of Roses, Autograph) and drummer Ken Mary. (Ex-House of Roses, Alice Cooper, Fifth Angel, etc.) and bassist Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot, Bass, ex-House of Roses, etc.). Their debut album, I Stand, brought together young performers and established skill players to deliver the quintessential classic hard rock album.
