K-pop giant SEVENTEEN is back on the move. Just months after wrapping up an extensive six-month Be The Sun world tour, the group is back with new music. FMLMoreand kickstart another brand new chapter.
FMLMore is scheduled for April 24th at 6pm KST / 5am EST and there isn’t much information about the project yet. However, the band’s label, Pledis Entertainment, has uploaded one teaser. It’s a gray and blue poster with images of a bed, a lamp, and his boxing ring.
In addition to announcing the mini-album, SEVENTEEN’s social media channels said, “seventeen streetThe tweet included a variety of emojis, including a July 17th calendar emoji, a cat and frog emoji, a dumpling emoji, and a tropical island emoji.
The new EP is the group’s latest output since Sector 174th full album repackage, face the sunSEVENTEEN’s last mini album will be released in 2021 attack, the seven-track record that set their boyhood on fire. The group’s last few albums mark a darker shift to the group’s persona and concept as they shed their youth and venture into more mature territory. It’s like a continuation, with a seemingly more sophisticated adult turn that throws a bit of angst into it too (after all, FMLMore).
Seventeen is one of the busiest K-pop groups. Alongside group activities, band members are also working on their own solo projects. Member Vernon released a solo debut mixtape, black eye, last December, a pop-punk turn underpinned by the 00s-tinged title track. Hoshi and Woozi preceded him with a solo mixtape. Spider and Ruby, Each. No one knows what Seventeen will be in 2023 — perhaps another tour and perhaps the release of a few more solo mixtapes — but before that FMLMore.
