TLC and Shaggy are looking to rock the tour circuit with Hot Summer Nights featuring special guests En Vogue and Sean Kingston.
The Hot Summer Nights 2023 tour, set to begin June 1 in Alabama, will land in major markets including New York, Miami, California and Texas. TLC has a laundry bag of Billboard Hot 100 hits from the ’90s through his ’00s. Their four chart toppers include “Creep”, “Unpretty”, “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs”. Last June, Chilli and her T-Boz performed with Boyz II Men at Her Hollywood Bowl, wowing audiences with a series of classics. The crown jewel of the night came when T-Boz introduced a performance of “Unpretty.” “This next song is close and dear to my heart because I wrote it from the heart. My boyfriend made me feel like I wasn’t good enough. The song still rings true to this day.” Then to applaud, she added, “I kicked his ax to the curb.”
When it comes to Shaggy, the dancehall giant has a slew of Hot 100 classics, including chart-topping “Angel” and “It Wasn’t Me.” In a 2021 interview billboard, Shaggy talked about the importance of breakthroughs for up-and-coming dancehall artists. “I want the new generation to stream better than I do because that’s what pushes the genre and puts it at the table. It’s a kind of presence that companies want to fk with us.” It helps culture with tourism It’s a big part of our economy When you beat me that’s when we have to be reckoned with
