From the title track’s opening whim to the closing Dick Roulette, local surf groups aren’t just churning out go-go-boosting tunes, No Fun City, Relations–t, and rent-a-thumb protests are all ‘ Paid a Million Dollars (To Live Like You’re Poor). It’s a lot of fun and it’s more than just kind of silly.
It’s a jam-packed roster with a great line-up of opening artists, including comedy singers Shirley Nome, Victoria’s Hank & Lily, and The Revivators’ pre-show instrumentals.
