Capital Radio listeners were jaded when Roman Kemp interviewed Keanu Reeves on Wednesday’s breakfast show.
The 30-year-old host had pre-recorded a conversation with the 58-year-old Canadian actor, in which he berated the actor about British culture, embarrassing the Hollywood legend.
During the chat, Roman asked Keanu if his legendary Hitman character, John Wick, could defeat the “national gym teacher” Joe Wicks in a fight.
Keanu is on tour promoting John Wick: Chapter 4, described by critics as “one of the greatest action movies of all time.”
Clearly puzzled by the question, the polite Keanu replied: Believe it or not, John Wick really doesn’t want to fight, so let’s talk about his life and fitness. john wick hashtag fitness!
Roman told Keanu that John Wick sounded like Wicks from the British hardware chain, to which a confused Keanu replied:
The son of Spandau Ballet legend Martin Kemp concluded the interview by doing a Keanu impression.
He explained: “So I try to change the face first, and the way I do it is if you’re about to sneeze and lean back and your eyes are gone.” So you’re confused about sneezing.”What? (Pretends to be Keanu) “Look, what am I doing here?”
During the interview, Keanu was in good sport, but he seemed baffled by a series of questions, prompting Capital Radio to share a clip of the exchange with the caption, “Is this the craziest interview ever!?” urged
Disgusted viewers were left hysterical, commenting, “For God’s sake, don’t let him do this again.” ‘I had to hand it over to Capital Dance’; ‘his face. ‘
This is the second time Roman has suffered a nasty blunder in recent days after accidentally eating a special cream egg worth £10,000.
He shared a photo of his discovery after unwrapping the half-white, half-milk chocolate treat while lounging in front of the TV on Sunday.
But his relaxed day quickly turned into chaos when he discovered the truth behind the “new Cadbury egg.”
In a hilarious Twitter exchange, Roman added, “It tasted like regret,” after mocking it.
To deal with the situation at Capital Breakfast on Monday, the presenter and his co-hosts Sian Welby and Chris Stark turned to Cadbury’s for help.
Cadbury’s launched a prize draw earlier this year, with one half-and-half egg worth £10,000 and the remaining 22 eggs worth £50.
Roman, who shared a photo of the crème egg on Twitter, wrote: Half white half milk chocolate?”
Panic soon set in after his fans revealed he may have “eaten 10,000 pounds.”
‘I already ate it and people say it’s worth 10,000?
“People saying it’s a prank or that I used a tip. I want to *****. This is not funny. It’s like regret,” Roman wrote.
In an interview with Capital Sian, he said, “You’re embarrassed by the embarrassment. I mean, it’s the most ridiculous thing. Why, why do you think it’s wrong?”
Roman explains:
“But this is a fact…I ate an egg worth £10,000.”
