The general sale will allow Busted fans to get tickets to the trio’s mega 20th anniversary tour, more than 20 years after the band released hits like “What I Go To School For” and “Year 3000.” It was the last chance to enter.
Just 10 minutes after Ticketmaster, Ticketek and AXS queues opened, the first Manchester date sold out, leaving hundreds of fans without tickets.
After huge demand, the group has added six new UK dates to its line-up, including a second show at Manchester’s AO Arena on 30th September.

Despite announcing the tour late last week, hundreds of fans bought tickets for Wednesday’s first artist and O2 presale, causing the site to crash due to overwhelming demand.
The majority of tickets are believed to have been sold out during this week’s pre-sale event, including O2 Priority and venue pre-sales. The trio will play 21 shows across the UK on their whirlwind tour in 2023, performing their biggest hits.
Early sales also gave fans an idea of how much they were expected to pay, with tickets ranging from £42.50 to £80 depending on the type of package. , has a much lower price compared to other artists’ sales, but we share our frustration with the price.

Only a few Ticketek tickets left
As the rush wanes, I spotted some available seat tickets on Ticket Tech for the September 30th show.

Ticketmaster SOLD OUT
Tickets for both Manchester shows are currently sold out.
No official statement yet, but I’ve tried all options for the last 10 minutes and nothing shows up.
Other UK venues also look pretty slim as Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham have very few spots left. ) I recommend coming back.

Platinum tickets still available
It seems that WOW and seated tickets for September 30th, the second day, are sold out. The only other way fans can get these is by waiting for a resale.
The good news is that there is one ‘Platinum’ ticket left for £113.40. In theory, these tickets offer no perks. Introduced only when demand is high and “tickets don’t include VIP packages”.
I’ve added a seating chart below so you can see the layout of the venue.

Ticket Tip: Choose One Ticket At A Time
Obviously, this comes with a small amount of risk, but with the second Manchester dates starting to sell out, we recommend giving this one a try.
You can’t get two seat tickets at once, but if you select one at a time they will appear. If you really want to see it, this may be your only chance.
This means your tickets will be spread out in pieces, but you may have to sit yourself, and you’ll end up with a lot of private seats per U row.

WOW tickets sold out on second date
£80 WOW Pit Standing tickets have already sold out for the second Manchester date. If you’re on the queue, don’t bother adding as there are none left.
When I clicked on a general seat ticket, 4 tickets came out, so it seems that there are still a few seats left. Unlike the first day, there will be no platinum tickets for the September 30th show.

fans disappointed
Fans have shared their frustration on Twitter about not being able to get tickets.
As one fan said:
We waited until 9am for Busted Manchester tickets to sell out within minutes.
James Bourne also seems to have commented on the sold-outs, but neither the band, Ticketmaster, or AO Arena have yet confirmed any sold-outs, but they certainly haven’t.

no tickets left
I tried to purchase the ticket again by refreshing the browser and rejoining the queue.
I can confirm that there are no tickets left for Manchester dates on the Ticketmaster site, with the dreaded yellow “low stock” warning. We will update as soon as we get confirmation at the venue.
In the meantime, there are still vacancies in Liverpool, Wales and Leeds, so join us for other UK dates.

Tickets for Manchester appear to be SOLD OUT
It doesn’t look good. I’ve made it to the front of the queue, but I have no tickets left for Manchester. I’ve searched for WOW, seated tickets, and even his two platinum tickets, but all I see are signs for resale.
Anyone else have this issue?

One of the ticketmaster queue quicksets I’ve seen
Reporter Bethan got to the front of the line in record time after a failed presale. Three minutes is by far the fastest time I’ve ever seen.

Tip #1: The More Devices and Browsers, the Better
The countdown has started and we are less than 15 minutes away.
A tip for all fans to follow is to use multiple browsers and devices. This works almost every time, but often means you are left with a few options rather than choosing the last resort ticket type.
You can log on to the ticketing service used above and wait for queues to open on multiple devices. laptops, phones, tablets, etc.
Once the queue is open, you can leave the options open for further devices. If you’re flexible, you might benefit from attending nearby Liverpool or Leeds dates as well.

How to get same-day tickets
We all know what it’s like to stand in line for a ticket behind thousands of people and come out an hour later empty-handed. We’ve put together some tips.
The first is to visit the site early. It sounds simple, but you can get ahead by logging into each ticket office about 20 minutes in advance.
While waiting for the countdown, open a new tab and make sure your Ticketmaster account details (address, bank card, etc.) are up to date. This speeds up the checkout process.
Another is to join both waiting rooms at 08:45, open a new tab, wait for the general queue, and also join at 9:00 am.This will only increase your chances.
