It’s a nasty dichotomy. Spotify is well aware of the benefits of AI – the giant green streaming giant is currently building an AI DJ in beta with the help of the creators of ChatGPT to suggest their next playlist. Please don’t knock until you try it. So let’s take the first interim steps towards AI-generated music. For the hefty $8.99, I get 25 Voicify credits. So, 25 are used to pick one of 37 models (read: AI Vocal) and pair it with the YouTube URL of your favorite song.

You can try to block, cancel, disable as you like. AI versions are here, and Elon Musk’s On/Off Partner takes a much more Darwinian approach.
