Pop superstar Lizzo will perform in three major Australian cities during her stay in Australia for Splendor In The Grass 2023 in July.
The rumored singer, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, will kick off her Australian tour at Perth’s RAC Arena on July 14th, before settling in for the night at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on July 17th.
She will then headline Splendor In The Grass, July 21-23 in Byron Bay.
The Grammy winner will then perform a gig at Sydney’s Kudos Bank Arena on July 23rd.
The rest of Splendor’s artists have yet to be announced, but the festival’s first release tickets go on sale March 23 at 9am.
Lizzo fans can also get tickets to her arena tour during American Express presales starting March 24 at 11am.
Live Nation pre-sales will begin at noon on March 28th, and general sales will begin at 11:00 am on March 29th.
Last week, the 34-year-old American singer was announced as the headline act for Splendor 2023, with other performers to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
“Lizzo changed the sound, soul and spirit of popular music,” a festival spokesperson said in a statement.
Lizzo makes her Splendor debut armed with her biggest, boldest, brightest revolution ever.
“The special’s spirited, charismatic anthem, bursting with chunky disco-funk beats designed to get you going, is her most adventurous yet.”
The About Damn Time singer first performed in Australia in January 2020, embarked on her first national tour and also appeared at the FOMO Festival.
