The Pixies and Modest Mouse have announced new co-headlining US tour dates, supported by Cat Power. The show ends this August and September. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 31, at 10am local time. Check out all the dates below and all of the Pixies’ announced shows for 2023, including previously announced ones with Franz Ferdinand and Brie as supporting acts.
Pixies latest album Doggerelwas released by BMG last September.
In early 2022, the Pixies shared the single “Human Crime.” To announce the new album, the Pixies shared the single “There’s A Moon On.” They later shared the album track “Vault of Heaven”. Then “Dregs of the Wine”.

golden coffin It was Modest Mouse’s first full-length in six years. Previously, the band shared the album’s first single, “We Are Between”. This is his one of the songs of the week. They then shared his second single from the album, “Leave a Light On,” and announced several US tour dates for the summer and fall. “Leave a Light On” was also one of his Songs of the Week. It was followed by the “We Are Between” video. They then shared his third single from the album, “The Sun Hasn’t Left,” which was again named on the song of the week list.Then they were musical guests The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Frontman Isaac Brock and the band performed “We Are Between” remotely from a plant-filled location.The band’s previous album was 2015 a stranger to myselfIn 2019 Modest Mouse released a great new song, ‘Ice Cream Party’, which was one of the songs of the week, but unfortunately not on the new album.
Cat Power (aka Chan Marshall) has released a new covers album. cover, via Domino in January 2022. “Bad Religion” by Frank Ocean, “Pa Pa Power” by Deadman Bones, “Pair of Brown Eyes” by The Pogues, “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Billie Holiday, etc. Includes a cover of. Original song “Unhate”.
