Perth heavyweights Pendulum have announced a new single featuring Bullet for My Valentine’s Matt Tuck. The track is called “Halo” and will be available on streaming services and everywhere else on Friday, June 2nd.
The new single heralds a new era for the band, who have just signed a new record deal with Mushroom and Virgin Music Group. The band’s last full-length studio album was immersion, It was released in 2011, over ten years ago.

The band went on hiatus in 2012, but reunited in 2016 with a new EP, Elemental The forthcoming single “Halo” will be the band’s first new song for 2023, and was teased at one of their London shows earlier this year.
“For Pendulum, I’ve always tried to make music that sounds like an apocalypse, and with ‘Halo’ it’s closer than ever,” frontman Rob Swire said of the song.
“We have always had one foot in the metal scene, so collaborating with Matt from Bullet for My Valentine was a great experience. His voice brings something completely unique to this table. ”
Upon signing the new record deal, the band said they wanted “this phase of their career to be the most exciting yet” and that they had plans to “elevate their sound to unprecedented levels”.
